Travel Essentials

· Travelling the world requires all sorts of preparations. Our handy tips listed below will help you plan accordingly before you visit us.
· Travel light when you're sightseeing. Bring along only essential documents plus a little money in a pouch and keep your other valuables in the hotel safe. Be sure to keep an eye on your possessions at all times.
· Do bring along a bottle of drinking water whenever you're about on foot. Malaysia's typically hot and humid climate means you'll quickly dehydrate when walking about.
· Malaysia is a rich mix of diverse cultures and peoples of different ethnic origins, but predominantly Malay Muslims. As in most Asian cultures, exploring the various local customs and traditions are fun, but do remember to be respectful and dress conservatively.
· Tipping is not a common practice in Malaysia, as most outlets already charge an extra 10% for service. However, there's no harm if you're particularly generous or would like to be remembered by the staff.
